A leading footwear brand approached Tech Solar Solutions to design and build a 600 kW rooftop solar plant at its Taloja facility in Navi Mumbai. On paper, the brief was a standard commercial rooftop installation. In practice, the roof sat nearly 21 metres above ground, above a warehouse that needed to keep running throughout construction, right through the monsoon season.

Panels, cable trays, earthing strips and equipment couldn't be lifted onto the roof in bulk. Everything had to move up in carefully sequenced stages.

DC cable trays had to run vertically from rooftop to ground level with precise alignment, and earthing conductors had to span the full height of the building while meeting India's electrical safety standards.

Monsoon rain and high winds narrowed the safe working windows, and the warehouse below couldn't pause its daily operations for the build.
Tech Solar Solutions built the execution plan around safety first and schedule second. Certified scaffolding and boom lifts handled vertical access, while independent lifeline systems protected every worker operating at height. Work-at-height permits and daily toolbox talks kept the site disciplined shift after shift, and an experienced execution team managed the sequencing so warehouse operations continued without interruption below.
A rooftop solar project isn’t judged only by the capacity installed. This one is a working example of what disciplined planning and safety-led execution can deliver on a site where the height alone ruled out a conventional approach. It’s the kind of project Tech Solar Solutions takes on when the brief looks simple and the site says otherwise.
